Nostalgia

Seasons dipped in nostalgia
A half smile is all I saved

Trudging on in day to day

Fighting the demons in my heart

I Fight a desire to shake myself

To be thrown out of this dream

This place I thought I knew has

Turned into a cavern of monsters

Once upon some well made lies

I thought I had a course

A direction anchored in accepted  norms

But now just some societal props

It is quite stunning this turn about

This reveal of goblins in the mix

The pretenders leading us to hell

So gayly liberal in their vuews
