NOT A POEM BUT A TRUTH-ALIEN ABDUCTION DISCARDED
Sunny afternoon-1978
driving down the country lane
4.30pm
Heavens glow is bleeding
lost in Gods rescue
turning left 2 miles from home
waking up
engine running its heated plan
near a wood,forest becoming
blood soaked legs
scratched the autograph
1am the next day -8 and half hours missing
Abduction again
too many days sober
mornings needed to sign another eaten pledge
left without a whisper
answer stolen ,buried in Bowie's echo
42 years later sitting in the wreck of a life
watching stars and cursing
alone eating the still forming frost
chained in that days mind
treading the vacant air
being left behind-an answer from beyond the stare
Parting number two---
cold the fur ive collected in jars of graveyard scenes
laid below a surface of water
smoking in dreadlocks and aged disquiet
secrets kept painted in violet
knives ive transcended into the shadow
laying on covers dreaming in lovers
praying to stones ,heavy in colour
am i in love with the day of my instruction
come back you never kissed my frame
