Not in a Crowd (Original)

A Sixth Rant

Not in a Crowd (Original)

Thy Fish, you are not important,
From you, with your spirited luck
Lonely in a crowd
Stand out in a crowd.

Make no fool of me,
I am helpless.
Vulnerable to the tides of the sea
Set me up to fail.

But I won`t, It`ll take some time,
But I can rise higher again,
Higher than the important,
Higher sense of worth.

A sense of worth.
That’s all I want.
A sense of belonging.
While being apart.

Is it too much to ask?
To look from afar?
In my zone of comfort,
Away from insecurity.

Or must I face my challenge?
That others find so easy?
To simply have others,
To enjoy my company.

Thy Fish. Strong on your own.
Weak with a crowd.
Will my voice be heard?
Do my words make a sound?

Better on my own.

The Fish of the Sea.
