NOT ONLY THE ROMANCE QUEEN (For Cherie)
As I sit here reading poetry
a little down and feeling blue
I think I shall read something happy,
so I turn the page to you
I always have a smile
when your words come up, on screen
defining the name bestowed on you
Cherie Sumner, the romance queen
Yes this genre you excel in,
with beautifully written prose
Your imagination, phenomenal
that s why your poetry glows
Cherie ,You must know you touch hearts
with your words, of love so tender
from Templar knights and ladies fair
where stories end, in sweet surrender
But romance is not the only topic
that your pen writes, with flair
Stuck in my mind are your nature writes,
your writes on God,and on horses, that you share
So I`m here now, much more cheerful
such a pleasure it was,to read your lines
You are not only the romance queen,
your writes in all genres are wonderfully divine...
