Not that year

This year was like no other
This year we saw the catastrophe
we saw the power of something so small
so small our naked eye could not see

Yet this small evil 
so small we could not see
has killed and murdered

it has shaken mankind
it has changed our ways
its created poverty
its kept us apart

we must rise again
over this virus
we must beat it
by staying apart.
