Poem -

Nothing but a fairytale

She was denied love,

Her soul not worthy,

Of a love so strongly determined by the indoctrination of corporate media.

Her idea of love, was one not accepted,

Merely given a second look,

She looked for something that was unattainable

Something she read in a fairytale book,

A book that was handed down to her.

From generation to generation

But now, that book that lied in her hands,

No longer spoke words of sincerity, and pureness,

It was as if each letter became distorted and joined to resemble.... lies.

Lies of a false reality,

Lies of a love that would never exist outside of her own imagination,

Lies of love.
