NOTHING HERE HAVE I

NOTHING HERE HAVE I

I stand alone, for time has gone
Nothing here, have I to gain
For mercy left, thru my front door
And I have nothing here, but pain

No longer do I wait or seek
Those promises yet unfulfilled
For hope no longer lives in me
As all my dreams, you’ve killed

My world no longer, pirouettes
My tide no longer ebbs from shore
My life is lost, to dark vignettes
And my dreams do soar, no more

The sun no longer rises
No light exists within
Just darkness now comprises
This world I’m living in
