Beastly

Now I sit me down to eat,
Juicy cadaver sweetmeat
Carnage sates famished beast
Bowing grisly head to feast.

Savage tasty flesh apart,
Apathy plagues callous heart.
Vacant eyes accusing stare,
 Ravenous tis I, to scarcely care.

How I pray and contemplate
Diligent, methodically, await.
Fodder, oh I crave you near,
Only fiends residing here.

Amber eyes lambent glow,
Under bloated moon hung low
Chartreuse fetid, acid bile.
Drooling, lurid, demented smile.

Sinew betwixt keen fangs,
Only incites hunger pangs.
Sole mercy I shall show,
A quickened dispatch I'll bestow.

Deathblow by talons might,
Nary chance instinctual fight.
Surrender to foregone conclusion,
I seek no pardon for intrusion.
