object of desire
You must remember this,
A kiss is just a kiss,
With no meaning, it is useless,
With feelings behind it begins to flourish.

Nobody does it like you,
I wake up just wanting to kiss you,
And god help anyone who,
Dares to try to take you,
For I shall not let anyone do.
Ā
You are my most enhancing addiction,
I crave your affection,
For you are my inspiration,
I would do anything to keep your attention.

Nice use of "tion" suffixes to create an interesting rhyme/slant rhymed theme, Jaelyn.
I found it interesting that you did this on the last stanza alone.

I like the beginning a lot ! It made me think about some personal experiences.. Like its funny how a kiss can be mistaken as being passionate/romantic or special, when in reality you come to find out later on it did not mean the same thing to the other person as it did to you. It's crushing.. This reminded me of a piece from an old poem of mine, "Kissless lips can't be missed, keep in mind all my wits, and all the times I can't forget."
