Obscured reality

Others reality of me is this strong confident proud independent woman
But In my reality I focus on what I can’t do and can’t always get

Their reality of me involves what I have achieved
But my reality is what I’m struggling to achieve and struggling to get
So who’s reality is obscured mine or theirs ?

I don't really know you or your goals, dreams and aspirations, Lizzie.
If I did perhaps I could better answer the question you've posed in your poem.

I wanna be the next Edgar Allan Poe. Is that a realistic goal?
I don't know—I can only go by the opinions of those who care enough to read and comment on my writing.
