Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

~~Stuck for now with OCD
These thoughts that keep tormenting me
Telling me that something’s wrong,
Intruding my mind day and night long
What if I’d done this?
What if I hadn’t done that?
Washing hands and checking doors,
Count to five and scan the floors
Something’s just disturbed my brain-
Better wash my hands again
Check the front door: one, two, three,
Is my brain deceiving me?
What to do- who can say?
I’ve never known another way
Clomipramine provides a temporary solution
I’m still looking for a resolution
And it may take a lifetime.
