Ocean Light

Rhythmic lapping

of incoming tide

under evening sun

as light tries to hide

shadows growing

over frothy waves

slowly rolling in

to deserted caves

flickering lights

yellow and gold

rolls with the ocean

gently turning cold

the end of the day

creates emotion

tender memories

locked in this ocean
