Oceans

Oceans

I could list a thousand reasons why my head is swimming, or perhaps drowning in primer thoughts. You are the waves washing over my confusion and doubt; your voice is the cascading waterfall from which truth and tranquility flow; your eyes are the moon and stars lighting my way home. Though at times in life I feel like a caged bird, with you I am a young orca swiftly swimming across the sea. Your thoughts run deeper than the Atlantic, and I am yearning to dance with the sharks. Though I do not wish to be treated as shark bait as I am not here to please your evening appetites but rather to feed your heart and hungry soul.
