An Ode to Emptiness

An Ode to Emptiness

If I were to fall,
Who would be there to catch me?
No one. No one at all.

Every night it's the same lonely thought.
No one. No one at all.
The pain is the only company I've got.

A ray of light dances in the room.
But the pain is the only company I've  got.
Maybe that will all change because suddenly I'm not alone in the room.

Happiness begins to eat the pain.
Because Suddenly I'm not alone in the room.
Sure I have a lot to lose but I also have a lot to gain.

Chasing the light can be empty.
Sure I have a lot to lose but I also have a lot to gain.
It's the light that makes me happy.
