Wow!  A beautiful poem.  One can feel the sadness in your heart over mankind's raping of Mother Nature.  I gave you five stars.  The only thing I'd like you to do is to change the Topic to Saving Our Environment, which is one of the two I've asked people to write about.

It's one of tragedy and never ending abuse and rape for that matter Greg.
 The rape of this beautiful blue planet day after day, how long can we as species carry on for, who knows?...
Old Mother Nature or Gaia tends to, like a spring, compress smaller and smaller then unleash herself as a warning maybe or maybe she will one unsuspecting day will have had enough of us and something more permanent than repeated portents will occur.

Greg it's really tricky at present, but who knows with electric cars the norm by 2030, though I wish it was sooner, it is a step in the right direction.
And if you get the chance look up Nikola Tesla and his many inventions and what was supressed many, many years ago.
And if implemented then, we probably wouldn't be where we are today.
Up shit creek.
