OLD ADAGE

Absurd profound this is the deal
The hand you hold you make it real
Unblock the seal let mind reveal
You are as young as you may feel

Heads or Tails is up to you
Until observed the two are true
The final outcome that you view
Unconscious maybe but you knew

You can change your destiny
Break or bend reality
Reveal the truth decide to see
Drop the chains you can be free

But nature is both cruel and kind
Seasons change we are not blind
Hell or Heaven in your mind
The choice is yours to make you find

Love and  life and light within
Look down at hands so parchment thin
Abundant wrinkles on our skin
We are dying from the outside in

For peace of mind we all pretend
Old age like rivers twist and bend 
Just as young as you feel my friend
