Old and Bitter

Old and Bitter

As I'm getting older
My Bitterness shows itself rapidly

Satisfaction, long away from my door

Day life becomes my enemy

Night gets more friendlier

Joy, something totally unfamiliar

Seems light never occurred to me

My heart is cold

My tears gone missing

Smoking is not a habit anymore

Just Something to kill time on my own

As I can’t kill myself, sadly

Nor the thoughts in my head

Or feelings I wish I didn't have

Prefer my eyes closed

And my body shot down

What have I done

To deserve such torment?
