Old Divine

Old Divine

Gentle wonder gleams shafts of broken dreams
Setting fires alight
Wading through tides of oceans deep
Sleep peacefully, don’t wake and brake your solace
Times are changing fast
Crashing down amongst the tombs of many laid to rest
Let it be said “it might be best to lay amongst the dead”
Drip your modest beams amongst the seams of time
And hide what once was looked on as divine

Gwen such an honest and beautifully reflective poem you have written here, reflective simply to accept things or choose not to, but when one's spirit is pitted against something divine then things take a different course within one's feelings and thoughts.
That's how I see it and perhaps the answer is more simple to view just like how to live life.
Thanks Gwen and simply enjoy life my friend.👌❤️
