ON
OFF
Imagine a light switch but instead of light it turns on and off pain. Everyone has an opportunity to switch it at anytime but I’m the one who has to pay. That’s the best way I can explain the physical and mental strain, insane you may think. With the blink of an eye, I can go from okay to shutting down and running away. Within seconds I can be upset or angry but then become happy. My whole life I have been this way and as much as I would love to say…. “Not Anymore!” The reality is it will always exist, this light switch but all I can do is be optimistic and learn to live with it!
