Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time,
there was a girl who tried and tried.
Her parents believed that,
working hard was divine.
Her father said that she never tried,
because she simply she'd never work for a dime.
When she really did,
but she was so busy that he never noticed that she actually tried.
So her father sets rules that she must obey,
and when she supposedly wanted some time to organize and have fun with her life,
her father yelled out, "Hey!"
She does change in a way that is different and completely fey,
again her father yells out,"Hey!"
So she feels like Cinderella, okay?
Her father set rules and guidelines still believing that a life of work is Divine,
But since he has had the chance to watch television that night,
She was never supposed to have the time-
because she couldn't prove that she was "Daddy's little girl" at any time.
since her worth was always that of a dime,
since she was a bum all the time.
