Poem -
One chance
Life's too short to have regrets!
Why do we create painful memories?
Is it to remind us of loss and fear?
Or to ground us and keep us in the present?
Is it to value what we hold close and dear?
How do we release the strong hold?
Let go of what's weighing us down?
We cant move forward with baggage..
It's too heavy a burden to carry around.
We have to wake up positive each morning.
We need to learn to forgive and forgetĀ
Treat life as an unknown adventure.
Take chances and have no regrets.
Every waking minute is a gift..
Its pretty simple and it's not a test.
So what on earth are we holding back for?
We've got one chance, so give it our best!

So true! We live in the moment.
My past follows me wherever I go. I think, we have to look back in the review mirror (but) only temporary, in order to keep from making the same mistakes in the future. I'm always living for tomorrow, when in reality, this morning is only promised and we don't know how long. If you live for the moment, then you may be ableĀ to enjoy life no matter what comes your way. How I wish that was me, I was born a pessimist, yet I dream of being optimistic every day.Ā
