One Day

I’m scared 
I’m scarred 
The fear hurts more 
than the pain 
I’m losing 
I’m lost 
The missing pieces 
are less concerning 
than myself 
LOST AND AFRAID 
surely is better 
than found and afraid 
Is there comfort to be found 
in the unknown ? 
One day I hope to find out 
one day I might be able 
to personally speak for both 
BUT UNTIL THEN I REMAIN
