Poem -

One More Peaceful Day

I can feel my depression sinking in
Oh the temptation to dive right in
To indulge in the comfort of my old friend
Let this world just slip away
All my green fading to gray
Blocking out every shining ray
From the peaceful darkness in which I lay
The birds ring out for me to sing and shout
The squirrels beckon for me to play
But here in my heavy nothing I stay
Help me rise again I pray
Like the blazing sun in may
But first let me rest in the dark
Just one more peaceful day

A Lonely Journey

Hi Twilla,
How are you?
That was beautifully sad, and I really loved it.
It's good seeing you again. I missed you.

Matthew.

Thank You, Matthew!
I'm really good actually! This was written on a hard day, but it was short lived. I'm doing amazingly well! How have you been?
