Poem -
ONE MORE STEP
My journey in life is over
The light has faded awayÂ
And my heart sees only darknessÂ
So i will pause for a momentÂ
Then free fall into the great beyondÂ
Her voice calls out to me
It's no longer a whisperÂ
As in the days when my first love left
Now darkness howlsÂ
And I am not afraidÂ
Take my heart and soulÂ
Drain the blood from my veinsÂ
Let conscientiousness be my foe
And the arms of the sea
Lay me at its feet.
