One Of A Kind

One Of A Kind

Everyone is one-of-a-kind
There isn't anyone else like us
But they say, we all have a double
So what's all the fuss!

Sure like to meet my look-alike
At first, might be a wee bit spooky
Like looking in a full-length mirror
Wonder if he's just as kooky?

Saw a man who looked just like me
And it freaked me out real good
Stared intently at my look-alike dude
Transfixed was I where I stood

Seems this dude was blown away too
But we didn't actually speak
That would've been kinda freaky, yikes
We just kept taking little peeks

Finally disappeared into the crowd
Left me with a feeling of remorse
That I didn't actually have a word with him
To share in a little discourse

What are the chances of meeting him again
Probably one in a million I'd say
Sure would've been really quite interesting
Regretted not talking to this day!

Hello Happy Jack...

So far, there's actually four of me...

I haven't met any of the others...

I thought that would awesome to meet them...

Go in somewhere together and people would say Twins, Triplets, or Quads!

4-16 different people made us...

That would be amazing!

?

I mistook a little girl once for my Daughter...

She had the same name, same everything as my Daughter, the only differences were that she wore glasses at the time and my Daughter didn't although, she did eventually need them a few years later...

They ended up missing each other by about 5 minutes...

I would have loved to have seen their reaction when they saw each other...

I told my Daughter I almost kidnapped a kid by mistaken identity...

If it wasn't for the glasses it may have taken me a couple of more minutes because, she even said yes when I called her name just like my Daughter...

It was then I took notice of the difference in the outfit she was wearing...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...

Now that was downright spooky... even spookier than my experience! Guess it's more common than I thought!!! ??? Probably if we speak to a bunch more people, a high percentage would relate a similar experience! After all, there ARE 7.7 billion of us!!!! LOL Love one of you... Happy Jack ?

I have been looking forward to meeting my look-alike but I guess I am not not  fortunate. A man was awed when he saw me Monday morning on my way to work and said I look just like his niece.  I have heard it said several times that I look like some people but the irony is that even my twin sister is a complete opposite of me.

Lovely write Happy Jack...Keep them coming
