One Parent
One parent is pushing me away
One parent already left and never looked back
Times of feeling lost and lonely
I wish I had something good to say
But my life is falling apart, I’m falling off track
Times of feeling broken and abused
It gets harder and harder every single day
I’m just so hurt and confused
I don’t know what I did so wrong
I feel like me being born was a curse that sprung
One parent is my solid rock
One parent is nothing but a pebble
One parent is my everything
One parent brings me nothing
Times of feeling abandoned and fooled
Once a family, now forever unglued
One parent is pushing me away
And one parent already left, and never looked back this way

I know that feeling, so I turned to my Heavenly Father and found peace! We sometimes try and blame ourselves, parents are responsible for the child until 18, but should always be the"parent" .Sadly people shirk responsibility in this world and somebody always has to pay the price! It is a world wide problem and has caused many of the world's woes. Then we have to carry that weight our entire lives, but if we break the cycle, we lift the world a little higher.     well crafted write Stephanie!.........................Jim

When I was growing up I found my peace when I was home alone...
I'm glad there were no laws back then that I had to have a babysitter until, I was 12...
I hope things get better but, remember you're only cursed if you have to live at home for the rest of your life...

I haven't lived at home in 10 years... Which makes it harder. I'm missing out on so much. And so are my parents. One just doesn't care to socialize with me and the other is pushing me away. I just don't understand. Thank you for the read.
