Poem -

One Tear

Hey you, why do you lie, stretched apon this uneasy bed?

Your hair washed clean, in shampoo you didn't choose,

Soap you might be allergic to.

You are still, I watch you from this concrete chair

You lie on your bed of nails,

But now you do not protest or rage,  nor ask the relevant why?

You have accepted you're eternal fate.

That one tear that never trickled beyond the brink of your eye

I should have wiped it away,

I wish I'd wiped it away.
