Oops, There She Goes--The Saga Continues

Oops, There She Goes--The Saga Continues

So after that embarrassing incident in Vegas, to Utah did we head;

We stayed two days at beautiful Bryce Canyon, then to Moab off we sped!

The scenery was spectacular, our cameras never stopped;

The formations were so beyond belief, that nothing could them top!

We got up early the next morning, to visit the Canyonlands;

The largest park in Moab, with Canyons that are “Grand”!

The vistas took our breath away, as the golden sun beat down;

Then we came to a little suspension bridge, and I saw Linda with a frown!

For she’s not known to be the bravest one, when it comes to crossing heights;

And the thought of doing it on foot, brought the epitome of her fright!

I showed her that she need not worry, as I ran across it fast ;

She vacillated for quite a while, then her yes vote did she cast!

Some Japanese student tourists, were waiting for her to start;

They began laughing in a foreign tongue, for as she crept, she held her heart!

Finally she reached safe terra cotta, for her bravery they bowed their heads;

They were too far away to notice, on her face was total dread!

WOW!! I`d love to have been there to see those canyons, it must have been wonderful. I`m not scared of heights so I would have taken her in my arms and got her over there safely. I love to go to high places but Geoff is scared of heights, so he hides in the car when we go and see high places in the countryside over here. The Lake District is wonderful for high mountains and deep valleys and so is the west of Scotland, I love to go to the edge of the cliffs and look down but Geoff sits and cowers in the car...lol!! It`s so funny to see a hulking great big man cowering like a baby...lol!!

Well done for this one, I enjoyed it and the photo`s.

Love you both

G xx

Our Dear G,

Don't worry so much about the heights outdoors, that Geoff is afraid of.  Rather, you should be impressed, with the heights he achieves indoors. ( Ha, Ha, as you can see, I'm foaming at the mouth for a Twit Contest with you.)

Love you,

Larry xxx

Hi G,

It's Linda.  Pay no attention to that naughty boy Larry.  I've heard that the countryside in England and Scotland is simply gorgeous.  Maybe someday we'll get to see it.  We were so in awe of the beautiful vistas in our Western states, we took 36 throw away cameras full of photos.  That was an experience we will never forget.  We had so much fun.  More funny stories to come.

Love ya, girlfriend,

Linda xxx

Our Dear Sweet Rose,

Daddio can be very convincing, so he thinks he might have been able to coerce you into crossing the little bridge too.  He would have stood on the other side, and serenaded you with a beautiful love song.  What woman could say no to that?  Is his ego out of control or what?  Thanks for your sweet words.

All our love,

Linda and Larry xxx
