Opinions

Do people's opinions really matter
With their words your hopes and dreams could shatter
your Delusions of grandeur could snap with a twang
And bring you back down to earth with a bang

Do you really care what they say
Would you take any notice anyway
Or do you believe they have no right
To question your brilliance beauty or might

When you put yourself out in the public domain
No two opinions are exactly the same.
So if you're not prepared to fall
Don't put yourself up on a pedestal
