Opus 13

Opus 13

Fate interceded when I saw your face

Every ordinary word you spoke

Found a home, a pillar in my soul

Yet I wish I’d never seen you

known you,

Touched your face, heard your

Point of view, a taste of heaven

Is what I’d found in you, and never knew

hey, D, yes you are right, I didn't edit this one, just wanted to know if I could get away with something right from the heart, I write poetry to 'cope'  and sometimes there is no 'connection' with the readers...I suppose there is a risk in that, but so be it, it really is how I feel about a 'relationship' I had, with great potential doomed by circumstance, maybe one day it will all make sense, who knows....I thank you for your kind words that encourage, and I know it is very ambiguous, to me also, in may ways, lol...  hugs bro.

This is so achingly beautiful. Deep emotion and longing vibrate throughout your words.

Very much enjoyed.

thanks, SoulWhispers, I fell in love with someone about 4 years ago who is way too practical, when it comes to the subject, lol....all i can do is write out my feelings; sometimes it feels like a curse, thanks for commenting, though I wish I understood more than i do, especially about 'love' ...life is strange and sometimes things don't work out....cheers poet, I love your work...be well

Sometimes words spoken directly from the heart say more than a volume of books..... your mind wants to expunge but your heart wont let you..stay strong my friend x
