Poem -

Oshun

Beckon me to your quarters, my pagan love.

Our fervor is immortal, ageless as fair beauty.

Your presence is hypnotic, revealing the best

In me. Wherefore, I drift within deer-eyes,

Pining for a mystic lily. I thirst to taste your

Fruit—to penetrate Eden. A banner of love

Permeates heaven, depicting our love in cryptic

Letters. May the angels consecrate our bond,

Its sickness, its majesty. My love is a palace

Within the mountains, raining forth a flood in

My spirit. And I’m a storm within myself, tender

As a bruised reed, in dire need of affection.

My love, delight me with carnal secrets. Let us

Journey upon amity, partaking of love’s abyss.
