Our Forgiving God 

In the very beginning,
God he gave us life ,
First he made Adam,
Then provided him a wife .

But together they let God down ,
And committed a terrible sin,
And that’s where our pain started,
Oh Lord where do I begin . 

Time after time ,
God gave us a chance,
To abide by his rules,
For our life to be enhanced.

First he sent us Noah ,
To wash away the sin,
He flooded the entire world ,
So Noah could re-begin . 
 
Then he sent us Moses,
So we wouldn’t go astray,
But the sinners kept on sining,
Every single day.

Then God sent us John,
To remind us of what to do ,
But the sinners kept on sining,
What’s to happen of me and you?

God is so forgiving,
That he sent us his only son,
To die in pain for our sins ,
So we could unite as one .

But the sinners kept on sining,
Our time has now begun ,
Don’t think God has forgotten,
What we did to his son.

Our time on earth is ending ,
Our saviour is about to return ,
If we haven’t repented,
Our souls will for eternity burn .

God doesn’t mess around ,
He warned us long ago,
If we continue sining,
We will reap what we sow .

Pray for Gods forgiveness,
Repent all your sins,
Even the ones you’ve forgotten,
Cause nothing goes passed him .

God sees all we do,
Knows our thoughts before they’re said ,
He will shine his light on ,
All that is in our head.

But if our heart is hardened,
We have only ourselves to blame,
Repent whilst you still have time,
Or spend eternity in Hells flame ….
