Our Friendship

Our Friendship

Miss Cherie this is just for you
Not for other prying eyes
To tell you how I value our friendship
As we wake up sleepy you and I

My morning words I send you with love
Hopefully, brighten up your day
Hearing back from you makes me feel
We connect in a loving way

Wouldn't want you to misunderstand
Not some yahoo out on the prowl
Feel a bond since our very first words
My undying friendship I vow

Want you to know I love our chats
They provide my days with a bounce
As long as it continues I thank you, dear Cherie,
On my loyalty, you really can count

A repeat...
