When I looked at your sweet face

I knew our road had been long.

I had to watch you struggle for many miles

And you could no longer carry on.

I told you that I loved you

I just whispered softly in your ear.

Then suddenly the angels came and took you home to God

But they forgot about me, they just left me here!

Now I`m just left with only tears.

My world is so silent now

Without you I am lost.

To hear your voice is my dearest wish

No matter what the cost.

In my darkest hours I cry and call your name

Oh Lord please hear my prayer

Because life without my Andrew by my side will never be the same again.

The hands of time tick so slowly

I cannot stop their work.

And life without you by my side is now so dark and lonely.

It only takes a little while to say how much I love you

But it will take my lifetime

To get past that darkness Andrew, when I lost you.

On angels wings you did ride

And that black day my heart and soul went with you.

Now in Gods` arms you reside

Until it`s my turn to be back with you.

I cannot stop those ticking hands

Nor can I go back to the past.

But I will love and always miss you my darling

As my time slowly drags.

This should not have happened!

It came out of the blue.

It shredded my world that terrible night

The night that I lost you.

You left me so swiftly

It`s so very painful for my heart and soul to bear.

I`m so lonely and broken

Now that you`re no longer there.

What do I do?

I`m so incomplete!

I feel so numb and lost.

Where do I go without you?

What do I do with all this loss?

Our days were great and we were so happy

But it`s in the quiet that I privately think of you the most.

I sit and just hold your pillow and smell your essence

It seems so surreal!

It`s your love and your smile and cuddles that I`m missing the most.

Have you really gone?

Surely Lord this is a nightmare!

Is it really real?
