Our Nature

Our Nature

Everything's growing again, even your eternal spirit,
once it starts to open, then your love has no limit;
in the old days there were flashes of aquamarine,
with roses, tulips and wonderful orchids in between.

I'd seen incredible flowers in Africa and the Far East,
you stood there engulfed in scent, wonders never cease;
frangipani, honeysuckle took you away to another day,
when sweetness prevailed, heaven is what they say.

A scent may remind us of a time like favourite song,
there didn't seem to be so much until you came along;
I remembered you on the far side of a distant room,
as though so much opened like an unstoppable bloom.

We should be humble, admire all of God's creation,
anything less surely just really doesn't make scents.

Happy coronation King Charles 111,
