I think I have considered you a friend,
As I remember life in colour.
Together to the bitter end,

The rest are players in my game.
Love and respect is what I’ve shown,
You gave me back the same.

You know me better than myself,
We’ve shared the highs and lows.
Happy to always share the wealth,
We are timeless like the rose.

You still look so young,
When I think of days gone by.
Songs of us forever sung,
With happiness I cry.

Give back more than what we take,
It’s a good way just to be.
We act ourselves don’t ever fake,
In life this is the key.
