In all the fervor
of rarer than rare 
black and white certainty
it's so easy
to lose perspective
in passions fire of intensity 
and magnify the degree
of the nasty offense
in this unjust
world of ambiguous gray

Lead us not 
into the nuclear powered fervor
of self righteous indignation
and deliver us
from ourselves
