Overcoming

My imagination saved me, regardless their attempts.
My creativity is healing me, regardless their actions.
My brain is damaged, regardless my attempts.
My heart is broken, regardless my actions. 

They raised a lifelong victim, captive to bad hereditary patterns.
They loved me, no more than they did themselves.
They don’t even realize the damage they caused.
I’m raising a lifelong victim within myself, overcoming being the product of bad math. 
I’m loving my family, more than I can myself. 
I’m realizing the damage I was caused, came from their hands. 

I refuse to let these patterns, be handed down to my son!
