“Pack up all your troubles in an old kit bag”

Thru the coloured cracks amidst the canopy of leaves above my head, that bright sunlight shone
And my feelings of frustrations from todays problematic pandemic situations were almost gone
This wonderful warmth that was beaming down on me that I had came upon
Soon made my woodland wanders so worth while, Mother nature had won!!
It was a case of “Pack up all your troubles in an old kit bag” and go out for a dander
So I crossed the green grass of those wild floral meadows and followed the rivers of meander
And ended up taking a well earned rest, sat on a little wooden stile under the shade of this old, ancient oak tree
Just the sizzling sun through yon colourful canopy and that awesome ambience helped to heal me...
