Pain of an Addict's Mom

Pain of an Addict's Mom

Years have gone by

Wondering when it will end

Watching your child

Slowly deteriorate at every bend

We keep in silence

As if our hearts will ever mend

Knowing, we may lose

And are not able to defend

Nothing a Mom can say to a child

Can make it change

The demon runs through their blood and veins

As their daily activities, we will never gage

Mom suffers with pain

Not knowing what is to come

Praying and crying

Hoping it will cease from where it came from

But, we know in our hearts

Eternity is inevitable

As we live with this demon

The hell is inconceivable.

Money, Items and more are missing

Our loved ones are persistent

People do not understand

Our Children are looked at with ill and resistance

We must live with this evil

The hell that we live in.

Families and love ones

Never knowing, if we will ever win it

Let’s stop this epidemic

Of all the demon drugs

That is out of our control

And truly one we would like to swat like a bug

Years have gone by

Wondering when it will end

Watching your child

Slowly deteriorate at every bend
