Paint

Paint

He came into my life
While my colors were of faded pastels.
And though I never asked,
He happily painted the colors brighter.

But now he's gone.
Furthermore,
My colors have dulled.
Leaving me surrounded by shades of gray.

And I've lost sight of my own paint brush.
