Painted Flowers

Painted Flowers

I'll make it through
the darkest dark with painted
flowers upon my heart
my head will rise and
and my feet may fail but
with painted flowers
I will prevail

Plant this seed and tell your tale
grow your garden, open the veil
Wish your dreams into the sky
Don't look back now, don't ask why

For you are safe in my arms
for I live deep inside your heart
You will die, but time will tell
So paint your flowers and paint them well

You'll make it through
the darkest dark with painted
flowers upon your heart
Your head will rise and
and your feet may fail but
with painted flowers
you will prevail

Get up child, get up now
it's time to wake up and show them how
Don't let the ground have your blood
Don't feed the fire,Don't feed the flood

Hold your guns and aim them well
Protect your freedom, break their spell
United we are strong, if kept apart we are numb

So know your rights and know them well
Our victory's waiting, I can hear the bells

We'll make it through
the darkest dark with painted
flowers upon our hearts
our heads will rise and
our feet may fail but with
painted flowers we will prevail

Hold my hand and let us sing
songs of freedom, let it ring
the hours are broken, the battles won
because we let our hearts become one

We'll make it through
the darkest dark with painted
flowers upon our hearts
our heads will rise and
our feet may fail but with
painted flowers we will prevail

So light your candle, look at the stars
take your first steps into the dark

The freedom of the people will always prevail with flowers painted on the walls of our hearts, death is no longer dark when you draw flowers with red pigment of our blood, and even the most absolute darkness becomes shining light when painted colorful flowers in the most remote corners of our souls.

Dustin Thomas is a great author that is unquestionable, and those essential authors to ensure civil rights and individual liberties, says the author in relation to flowers:

“Con flores pintadas en nuestros corazones nuestras cabezas se levantarán,
nuestros pies pueden fallar, pero con flores pintadas la vida prevalecerá, se encenderán todas las velas que iluminarán como estrellas, mientras damos los primeros pasos en la oscuridad”

A greeting, good and excellent write.
