Thrive

Do you think you've waited too long
to make your dreams come true
no there is never enough time
to get the best of you
Your time is coming so don't
you dare give in and let go
I'm holding on by a thread
in case you didn't know so

put your hands in the air
and ask yourself this
important question
do you want to just get by

No, I wanna thrive
to relax, let go, and get so high
my head feels like its
going to explode
you don't even know
I wanna thrive, its my
time and I wanna be
able to live before I die

Do you remember the light
in the dark, the one that
shined as you looked at the stars
that one wish, that made you wanna cry
but you were so tough, so trying to
be the best you can be without
giving into the darkness and i looked
up and saw your face and I knew that I was home

I put my hands in the air
and asked myself this
important question
do I really just want to get by

and I'm up here on cloud nine and
