"Painting Her Impression"

There are times, when her image is so clear in the window of my impression
That I feel the painter in me yearning, to create on her canvas
Everlasting oils of perfect strokes that imbue her countenance
With such lovely disposition and inner, tranquil, lightness of expression
That the easel doesn't bow or support the masterpiece created by purely,
God given curves and lines that need so little enhancing
That she's a Botticelli to me now, a perfect period of affectionate
Renderings and etchings from the greatest painters of all time
It's her soul that reminds me of how brightly her beauty shines
In this microcosm of indecision when I'm sure that she's the vision
It's so very clear to me now, how to make this artistic transition
From painting my impressions to sculpting the words that give her life
And longevity in her name, and in her way of taking time
Then slowing her inner grace, until it glows upon her face
And shuts down my arrogance, and rearranges all my plans
To admire, the sweet romanticism in her glance
And if I'm given half a chance, i'll create the perfect ambience
To display, her perfect face
A masterpiece......
