Painting In A Museum 
Breaking your heart trying to repair my own
just know I apologize for loving you wrong
you gave me a ton of love; I had a lust for you 
giving you false statements to believe my truth

Happy days overshadowed by dark nights 
revenge is the grievance to make it right 
those shoes seem to fit the wrong feet 
hurting you, I realized I only abused me

Planting a seed hoping you would grow on me
to sprout and become the perfect shade tree
there is no sunshine in tropical storms
only a damaged soul that leaves me torn 

No care in the world for the tears you shed 
you put your heart into me, but now my soul is dead
breaking your heart into pieces was the start 
for another man forming you into the perfect art
