Painting by Perception and Memory

Painting by Perception and Memory

Lush living green is the landscape I see

tall coconut trees watching over the sea

Orange yellow blushing red at sunset

Across the evening sky, a touch of pastel blue

Creating a melancholy reflective point of view

No wind to speak of, the waves creep softly by

Unfolding and reflecting, tongues of colors

A slow moving fishing boat appears,

Floating along with white sails down

A touch of yellow and orange reflection

Looks like a brown coffin on the horizon

Day is over casting shadows on the ground

Light fading fast, the night shows no colors
