Poem -

Pan

The waiting piper (for Damien, my Pan)

Pan

Young bucks abound
Tossing their antlers around

Old stags pass, but stop to bow down
Antlers low to the ground

But the Piper, the Aries, the wild Goat
Stands high in the mountains alone

Wild and free, as he knows his Goddess must be
He simply waits dancing from stone to stone

Hi Twilla!  Great scene and capture of "Pan"....the half goat man...waiting upon his goddess...I can picture him dancing stone to stone playing his flute or lute, and living wild and free...Great portrayal.  I just love the Greek myths.  xo ;)

Oh I like you 😁
And thank you so much! Yes. He's just dancing and waiting happily!
