Papiliio Machaon
delicate wings
so paper thin
soft cream colours
tipped with pale
blue and orange
held in the breeze
large eyes watching
antennas testing
clinging to a stem
by skeleton legs
with curled tongue
tasting the pollen
from this tiny
white blossom
living art
sweet scented
so petiteĀ
so beautiful
light on the air
