Poem -
Parasitic Evil
A ravenous predator
hides in the recesses
of its unsuspecting victim.
Feasting on health
with steadfast purpose,
awaiting its moment of exposition,
mocking its host.
A topical facade
being knawed at
from the inside out...
then the split-second revelation
which robs of all normalcy.
Only self-preservation in mind,
altering its course as needed...
a chess match of sorts,
a master at its game.
Creating a downward spiral
as it escalates and devours,
wreaking havoc on hope
with a faceless, disgusting sneer,
reveling in weakness.
Defeat is its victory,
pridefully applauding its success
as the “chosen one” succumbs
to this parasitic evil
named
c-a-n-c-e-r.

The thing that doesn't matter about you...
It doesn't matter what you Believe in, what your Nationality is, it can take you from living to dying and show you everything and, people complain about it...
Are we ever satisfied?
Do we have something truly against it because it doesn't listen to us and we can't control it?
Some people can fight it and win and some people can't and still, we don't see...

Thank you, Sparrowsong! My step-sister is dying from this dreadful affliction...ceased all treatments, so barring a miracle, it will get its victory. 40 years old...

You guys don't quite...
I heard that by doing some researching just on Google about natural cures, even in the final stage and the success rate...
People had doubts it would work for them and they are happy to share their story...
The treatments they tried was unsuccessful but, they weren't giving up...

As long as she's eating and drinking offer it like a serving of Nutrition...
If she gets blocked up give her a Chocolate Hershey Bar Plain no nuts, she'll be in a lot of pain, but once it's out it will be a major relief...
If she stops communicating, and if she's unable to swallow it's done...
You want to try...
Whatever she wants she should have it as a reward and because she can as long as she's not allergic...

Appreciate the ideas! Interestingly enough, the cancer is in her stomach and she throws up when she eats. Feeding tube kept blocking so she got so weak they had to stop chemo... My Mom may research though. I agree, can't give up!
P.S. If you don't believe me call Hospice don't mention the Hershey Bar though because they believe in the enema that they have me for my Mother for 3 days and it wasn't working...
I called her Nurse and told her after the fact...
They're not big believers in the Natural either, but you can ask if there's something she asks for if she can she have it even if Hospice isn't involved yet or Research that too...
She should be treated like a Queen for as long as you have...

Yes, she should! Sounds like she can't eat anything now... :( Someone mentioned oils, which we use in our house.

I'm not familiar with the Stomach type...
I don't know if the anti nausea medicine that goes on the wrist would help, talk to Hospice or her Doctor and see if anything can be done...
If she gets dehydrated and she can't take anything in, you all did your very best, it's easy to feel guilty, but when there's nothing more that can be done it's no ones fault...
It's Important you all Remember that...

You're not trying to put her in pain if she can't swallow she will choke...
But, ask the Doctor about getting fluids into her if her organs are still functioning if they begin to shut down depending on the organs if she's not able to release she will internally drown...
Hospice is involved and I believe they think the cancer has spread and grown while she was off chemo. :( It sounds like her tummy is beginning to puff and Mom said she will begin to retain fluid...
Ok.
I'm sure that her path is clear in case God does call her home...
May her suffering bring ppl closer to Him...
