I thought
It was Christmas
This Weekend
Seeing the Smiling
Faces
Of Parents
Happily buying
Clothes
and School Supplies
I never seen 
Such a sight!
Adults Giddy
Full of Joy
While their
Children are 
carted around
Looking Confused

This spectacle
Got me thinking
And I had a hunch
So after leaving
the store
I went to the 
local mental 
facility
and to my surprise
the parking lot
was filled with 
cars that 
had bumper
stickers
that had slogans
on them that
said things like

Those who can,  Teach

Or

Don't Make Me Use My Teacher Voice

Seems like our educators 
are less enthused 
Ironically 
I noticed
the drive thru
at Walgreens
had a pile
of cars
lined up......................
